Scholarships

The St. Lucie County Education Foundation promotes partnerships among parents, businesses, schools and community members. Each of these groups is recruited to donate time, talent and resources to support public school students and teachers. Together, we can build a strong foundation for education in St. Lucie County.

Scholarship Guide - a St. Lucie County Education Foundation publication is designed to provide our students and their families information on local, state and national scholarships. Scholarship opportunities are diverse. Some offerings come from the community. Others are available through state and national resources. Our local clubs and civic organizations donate thousands of dollars in scholarship money each year because they believe in you.

Foundation Scholarship Application - a standard application that the St. Lucie County Education Foundation has developed and offers to our civic organizations for their use. You will note that some local groups chose to utilize this application. Others prefer to continue with their own.

Facts.orgFACTS.org is Florida's one-stop statewide student advising system. FACTS.org is an acronym for Florida Academic Counseling and Tracking for Students. The system was designed by the Florida Department of Education to provide maximum access and seamless articulation services in order to help high school and college students make informed choices about their education. Launched in 2000, FACTS.org offers a comprehensive suite of services that gives users the unique ability to get all the information they need in one place for monitoring high school progress, learning about postsecondary opportunities in Florida, deciding career objectives, applying to college online, choosing the right major and evaluating progress towards a degree.

Choices

Explore career and education options. Empowers students to build a meaningful plan for college and beyond. Available in both English and Spanish, Choices® Planner is an online career information delivery system that helps students compare, connect and choose from a vast network of work and education options, effortlessly building powerful plans.

FSSGPThe Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) State Programs, within the Florida Department of Education, administers a variety of postsecondary educational state-funded grants and scholarships, and provides information to students, parents, and high school and postsecondary professionals.

FASFA

Federal Student Aid plays a central and essential role in supporting postsecondary education by providing money for college to eligible students and families. FASFA partners with postsecondary schools, financial institutions and others to deliver services that help students and families who are paying for college.

College BoardThe College Board is a not-for-profit membership association whose mission is to connect students to college success and opportunity by providing information about college readiness, college admission, guidance, assessment, financial aid, enrollment, and teaching and learning. Among its best-known programs are the SAT®, the PSAT/NMSQT® and the Advanced Placement Program® (AP®).
