Craig Logue, Principal
Welcome to Mariposa Elementary - the Home of the Monarchs - and our newly designed website. Over the past four years as principal of Mariposa, I have seen our school grow in size to more than 850 students and 84 staff members, making us the largest elementary school in the Blue Zone of our district (the southeastern part of St. Lucie County). We are blessed with fabulous staff and students and have earned a school grade of 'A' in 2005 and then again in 2007. We are one of 44 schools in the state of Florida who have earned the prestigious PBS (Positive Behavior Support) Model School - Silver Designation - Award. We have also been recognized for the past two years as a state Five Star Award School. We have an active PTO, wonderful parent volunteers, and great business partners.
