Vision and Mission
The vision at Treasure Coast High School (TCHS) is grounded in a belief that any student can be successful during their high school experience when confronted with a caring, challenging, and relevant learning environment. The organizational structure of our school and numerous academic courses have been thoroughly researched and established based on Breaking Ranks II research. Our faculty and staff are selected based on their expertise and desire to help students succeed.
It is our sole desire to witness the success of each student. Our pledge is to make sure each student at TCHS has a unique and fulfilling experience.
Beliefs
Our vision for TCHS is grounded in the belief that all students can be successful in high school when immersed in a caring, challenging, relevant learning environment. Student voice is a key component of TCHS and will continue to be a central focus for decision-making. Our faculty has developed and committed to the following beliefs about education.
Improved Student Performance
We believe every student can learn and every student will learn.
Collaborative Leadership and Professional Communities
Teachers are leaders and principals are leaders of leaders.
The principal will provide leadership in the high school community by building and maintaining vision, direction, and focus for student learning.
Continuous Improvement, persistent innovation, and a commitment to continuing growth are expected of all. Failure is not an option.
Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
Teachers and principals are accountable for results. Students need the support of the entire community to be successful. It is our job to involve the community in meaningful ways.
All school activity will be focused on the creation and delivery of school work and experiences from which the student gains skills, as well as developing the understanding that will equip him/her to participate fully in an information-based, knowledge-work society.
Personalized Learning Environment
Every student counts in our hearts and in our classrooms. We value student voice.
It is our responsibility to ensure that students are provided with school work and skill in which they experience success.
