The Division supports the view that the arts build cultural understanding, mutual respect, and strong communities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><i>Every day, in music and arts programs across the United States, music educators dedicate themselves to reaching all students with life-changing musical experiences.<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Research continues to suggest and support the positive connection between participation in arts programs and academic success. Florida standards for the arts reinforce academic principles of other core subjects in novel, applicable and relevant ways.
