Gaming and Simulation

Gaming and Simulation Program provides students practical applications in creative and visual arts, audio/video technology, creative writing, modeling, design, programming and management.  Students receive hands-on training in design and development of simulations and games.  Program completers will be prepared for entry-level employment and/or further education towards careers as designers, artists, animators, programmers, quality assurance analysts, and engineers in the entertainment industry, health care, education, corporate training, government organizations, and the rapidly growing field of computer simulation.

  • Students use Adobe Software to learn computer graphics design.

This program supports students' college and career readiness. Students are college and career ready when they have the knowledge, skills, and academic preparation needed to enroll and succeed in college credit-bearing courses within an associate or bachelor degree program without the need for remediation. Students need these same attributes and levels of achievement to enter and succeed in post-secondary workforce education or to enter a career path offering a living wage and future advancement.
