Applications to open a new charter school in the School District of St. Lucie County are due by February 1 of each year, at the School District Administrative Office located at 9461 Brandywine Lane, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986.

Charter school applications received on or before February 1 of each calendar year will be considered for charter schools to be opened no earlier than 18 months later at the beginning of the School District’s school year.

Applications should be submitted to Johnathan A. Ferguson, Executive Director of Legal Services, and include one paper copy and one electronic copy of the completed Florida Model Charter Application.
