Educational Leadership or School Principal Requirement for Renewals<\/b><\/div>\n

Effective July 1, 2024, 6A-4.0051 requires anyone holding Educational Leadership and\/or School Principal subject areas to include\u00a020 hours of Florida\u2019s educational leadership standards<\/b>\u00a0in-service points as a part of the required 120 points. This impacts those with professional certificates expiring June 30, 2025, and after.<\/div>\n

The district has created six 10-hour self-paced Canvas courses available beginning July 1, 2024 (links to enroll below).\u00a0 Each course is 10 hours of in-service points, therefore, TWO<\/b>\u00a0courses must be completed to satisfy this 20-hour recertification requirement.<\/div>\n
