Your school coordinator can reset your password for you. As an option, you can also call 429-HELP(4357) for password assistance.
Q4: Do all teachers need to verify the student rosters?
This year, we are asking ALL teachers to verify their student rosters.
Q5: When is the last day to verify the student rosters?
Teacher roster verification must be completed by April 17th. School Coordinators must have the roster verifications completed by April 24th.
Q6: What is Survey 2 and Survey 3?
The state collects student data several times during the year for many purposes. Survey 2 and Survey 3 are two of those data collection times. Most notably in the past, the data collected during that time determines the funding allocations for districts. Survey 2 occurs during October and represents data from semester 1. Survey 3 occurs during February and represents data from semester 2. The state has selected a specific date to use as the point of reference for student rosters for semester 1 and semester 2 which coincides with the Survey windows. For Survey 3, the date is February 6, 2026.
Q7: Do I need to verify both Survey 2 and Survey 3?
We are asking all teachers to verify their rosters to ensure an accurate representation of their schedules for teacher evaluation purposes.
Q8: Why are we only verifying the roster for students enrolled on 2/6?
The state guidelines for calculating the Value Added Model (VAM) indicate that the student was present at a specific time. February 6th is the date that the state has selected for the snapshot.
Q9: What about students that left after 2/6? Will they still count for me??
In accordance with the state’s Value Added Model (VAM) calculation, the student will be factored into the score if the student is enrolled in both Survey 2 and 3.
Q10: What can I do in Skyward to determine who was on my class roster on that date?
The Skyward Quick Reference Guide on Printing Students on Your Class Roster on February 6th will guide you through the process of printing the Attendance Summary Report in Skyward for the specific date.
Q11: How do I print all of the students on my roster within the Tool?
Q12: What happens if I don't verify my roster by the deadline?
The school administrator will verify your roster as is and all students listed on your roster will count toward your VAM.
Q13: What if I don't agree with my school coordinator about a roster change?
Provide your evidence to the school coordinator in time to allow the change to be approved.
Q14: What if I mark "complete" and still need to make a roster change?
Let your school coordinator know so that the change can be made to your roster.
Q15: If a student was absent, can I remove that student from my roster?
If the student was absent for more than 50% of the semester, you may remove the student from the roster. The Attendance Detail Report with the Attendance Total Only option selected can assist in determining the number of days a student was absent from your class.
