School Profile

At Savanna Ridge Elementary, we provide a comprehensive elementary curriculum for pre-kindergarten through grade five children with an emphasis on reading, writing, mathematics, technology and environmental studies. Our location on the high ridge of the Savannas offers children the chance to appreciate and explore the natural habitats and ecosystems that surround them. Technology throughout the school enhances every aspect of teaching and links all areas of the school as a means of communication. Students have access to multimedia technology in their classroom as well as in the computer labs. With a strong emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving skills, students learn reading, writing and math through thematic units and different teaching strategies.
