PEP-UA Scholarship Students Program

Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, SLPS will offer Step-Up Scholarship Students course offerings and special learning opportunities.

Important Information

  • Students may enroll in up to three courses.
  • All fees are non-refundable.
  • Fee must be invoiced one week prior to the start of the course.

How to Become a PEP Course Student in SLPS

Steps to Enroll in PEP Courses

Parent SLPS
  • SLPS will read and approve the application.
  • Parent will be directed to their Step-Up EMA account to select SLPS as a provider for in-person instruction.
  • Select the requested PEP course in Step-Up EMA with SLPS as the provider of instruction.
  • Accept the course request in Step-Up EMA and invoice the parent’s account.
  • Notify the school of approved pending PEP course enrollment by the student.
  • Notify the parent to contact the school for enrollment.
  • Schedule a meeting with the registrar at the school to register for requested course(s).
  • School provides the schedule and school information to the student.

PEP Course Fees


All K-12 Regular Courses
$500 per semester per course.

$1000 per year per course.


AICE/AP Courses
$700 per semester per course.

$1200 per year per course.

Includes the cost of the associated test.


CTE Courses 6-12
$625 per semester per course per semester.

$1250 per year per course.

Optional Industry Certification will be an additional cost.


Virtual Courses
Regular Virtual Courses:

$350 per semester per course.

$700 per year per course.

 

Virtual CTE/AICE/AP Courses:

$550 per semester per course.

$900 per year per course.


Elementary Electives on Rotation
$75 per subject (once a week) for schools on a five-day rotation only.

$125 per course for rotations offered twice a week.
