GRADUATION GUIDELINES
& SAFETY PROTOCOLS

BAG/BACKPACK GUIDELINES:

Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap are permitted. Large bags or backpacks will not be permitted at any St. Lucie Public Schools football games. We encourage you to plan accordingly and bring only essential items.

METAL DETECTORS:

To enhance security, walk-through metal detectors will be in use at the entrance.

TICKETS:

Each graduate will receive tickets for the ceremony from their school and should arrive in one car with their guests. All guests, including children and babies, require a ticket.

WATER:

Coolers will not be permitted; however, guests may bring bottled water. Each graduate will be provided a bottle of water.

OTHER ITEMS:

Balloons and air horns will not be permitted in the graduation venue.
  • Any high-risk individuals or those who are susceptible to the heat should consider staying home and watching the live broadcast of the ceremony.
  • All graduates must arrive at least 1 hour before the start of the ceremony.
  • Guests may enter venue 45 minutes before graduation begins.
  • Upon arrival, all graduates will follow signage to graduate staging area.
  • Each graduate will have the opportunity to walk across the stage to be recognized during the roll call.
  • When the ceremony ends, all graduates and visitors will immediately exit the arena as directed.

Graduation Live Broadcast

The graduation ceremonies will be aired live on WLX-Horizon, the Education Channel of St. Lucie County, appearing on Comcast channel 13 (Ft. Pierce), Comcast channel 19 (Port St. Lucie), Blue Stream channel 19, and ATT TV channel 99. Furthermore, the link to the broadcasts will be found on the St. Lucie Public Schools home page. Once aired, the ceremonies can be accessed through the WLX-Horizon App.
