Streamlined procedure for Home Use of Microsoft Office

As mentioned in past newsletter articles, we have procedures posted on SHARE for obtaining copies of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office for working at home on personal devices.  While ordering MS Windows still requires a media fee, the ability to install MS Office is now FREE.

You may now download and install Office on up to 5 PCs and Macs and up to 5 mobile devices such as IPads, Iphones and Android phones.   The process is so simple we don’t need a separate document to describe it.

To download and install Office:

1) Connect the device you wish to install to the internet

2) Sign on your to email account with the district

3) Click on the words “Office 365” in the upper left corner

4) Click on the “Install Now” button and follow the prompts for installation.
