Fingerprinting and Drug Screening

All newly hired employees will undergo a background check as per Florida Statute 1012.32. It is the responsibility of the new employee to pay any associated fees.

Drug Screening

Full time employees – payable at https://stlucie.revtrak.net/Drug-Screening/ by Discover, MasterCard, or Visa.

All Substitute Employees – payable at https://stlucie.revtrak.net/Drug-Screening/ by Discover, MasterCard, or Visa.

Fingerprinting - Full Time Employees

Pursuant to Florida Statue 1012.32 background and criminal history checks must be completed and results must be cleared prior to your start date. Results will be received and reported to the Human Resources Department.

Fingerprinting - Athletic Coaches

Pursuant to Florida Statue 1012.32 background and criminal history checks must be completed and results must be cleared prior to your start date. Results will be received and reported to the Human Resources Department.

Athletic coaches are required to purchase a Photo Badge payable at https://stlucie.revtrak.net/Photo-Badges/ by Discover, MasterCard, or Visa.

Fingerprinting - Charter Schools

Pursuant to Florida Statue 1012.32 background and criminal history checks must be completed and results must be cleared prior to your start date. Results will be received and reported to the Human Resources Department.

Charter school applicants must complete the fingerprinting process by visiting our office Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. located at 9461 Brandywine Lane, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986. Payments can be made by Discover, Master Card, or Visa prior to, or at the time of the visit by clicking: https://stlucie.revtrak.net/Human-Resources/fingerprinting/#/v/fingerprinting-charter-schools

Charter School employees are required to complete a new hire drug screen.  Payments can be made by Discover, Master Card, or Visa prior to, or at the time of the visit by clicking: https://stlucie.revtrak.net/Drug-Screening/

All Fees are non-refundable.  Please make sure to have a photo ID and a copy of your hire letter.

Fingerprints/drug screens are walk-in only.  No appointment is required.

Fingerprinting - Contractors / Vendors

Pursuant to Florida Statue 1012.32 background and criminal history checks must be completed and results must be cleared prior to your start date. Results will be received and reported to the Human Resources Department.

1. Fingerprinting – (two options)

Fieldprint:

    • Visit Fieldprint® Florida (fieldprintflorida.com)
    • Click on the schedule and appointment button.
    • If you’re a new user enter an email address and follow the direction to create an account.
    • On the Reason page enter the following Fieldprint code in the box provided FPStLucieVendorBPrints **NOTE** Please do not select from the pull-down box.
    • Enter the contact and demographic information required by the FBI and schedule a fingerprint appointment at the location of your choosing.
    • Once completed, print the confirmation page. Bring that to your appointment along with your photo identification.
    • If you have any questions or problems, you can contact the Fieldprint customer service team at 877-614-4364 or customerservice@fieldprint.com

Our office:

Contractors may complete the fingerprinting process by visiting our office Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, located at:
9461 Brandywine Lane, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986

2. Badge

All contractors are required to purchase a Contractor ID badge.
Please dress appropriately for a photo to be taken at the time of your office visit for your ID badge. Payments can be made by Discover, Master Card, or Visa prior to, or at the time of: https://stlucie.revtrak.net/Human-Resources/Photo-Badges/#/v/Contractor-Photo-Badge-19.

3. Sex offender/predator clearance

In addition, please provide written verification to St Lucie Public Schools that you have cleared all employees with the sexual offender/predator database at www.floridasexoffender.net

Verification should be mailed to the St. Lucie Public School’s Human Resources office, Attention: Lynn Louderback at 9461 Brandywine Lane, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986

Fingerprinting - College Students

Students will complete the fingerprinting process by visiting our office Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. located at 9461 Brandywine Lane, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986. Payments can be made by Discover, Master Card, or Visa prior to, or at the time of the visit by clicking:

Fingerprinting - Clinicians

Pursuant to Florida Statue 1012.32 background and criminal history checks must be completed and results must be cleared prior to your start date. Results will be received and reported to the Human Resources Department.

Fingerprint payment and appointment scheduling:

  1. Navigate to: https://fieldprintflorida.com/individuals
  2. Click “Schedule an Appointment”

If you are a new user, create your user name and password and complete the signup.
If you are a returning user, use the username and password previously created.

  1. On the Reason page, for Fieldprint Code, enter FPStLucieClinician
    **NOTE** Please do not select from the pull-down box.
  2. Enter the contact and demographic information required by the FBI and schedule a fingerprint appointment at the location of your choosing.
  3. Once completed, print the confirmation page, and bring it to your appointment along with your photo ID.
  4.  If you have any questions or problems, you can contact the Fieldprint customer service team at 877-614-4364 or customerservice@fieldprint.com.

Clinicians are required to pay the Florida Department of Law Enforcement retention fee to ensure that their fingerprints remain active throughout the clinician experience. Payments can be made at:

FAQ

When do I need to be fingerprinted/drug screened?

Once you have been hired for a position, you will receive an email with instructions to schedule your fingerprint/drug screen appointment.

What happens next for newly hired fulltime employees?

Upon receipt of your fingerprint/drug screen results, your principal/administrator will be contacted by Human Resources regarding your start date. You will be notified by your principal/administrator when you are to report to work.

What happens next for newly hired substitute employees?

Upon receipt of your fingerprint/(drug screen results if applicable), you will receive an email regarding completing the Sub-Hub on-line. Once you finish ALL five sections of the Sub-Hub you will need to submit/attach a copy of the Introductory Teacher Training certificate to your on-line application . This certificate shows that all five sections have been completed. You will also be required to print and complete the Acknowledgement form found under the policies section in Sub-Hub and submit/attach it to your on-line application. Once you have finished this process you will receive a notification telling you to contact Lisa Kimbrill at (772) 429-7509 or Lisa.Kimbrill@stlucieschools.org to schedule your face to face training for AESOP.
