Meets the ESE Recertification Requirement for Professional Certificate Renewals (Senate Bill 1108).

This is an online course designed to help educators understand the needs of various populations of students on our campuses in order to enhance practices that increase student achievement. Educators will obtain knowledge of ESE legislation, requirements, and key terminology. Additionally, they will be able to understand the concept of growth mindset, its importance, and how to foster a growth mindset in themselves and their students.

  • Registration on Frontline will be open during the registration timeline.
  • The course begins on the date listed and ends on the date listed. These dates are not negotiable.
  • Seats are limited and priority will be given to those who need to meet their ESE re-certification requirement this year.
  • Participants will be enrolled at the start of the course in order to access the class.
  • A suggested pacing schedule is included in the syllabus of the course – a minimum of one to two assignments should be submitted per week but participants may submit more.

If you take the SLPS Growth Mindset ESE course, it will show up on your transcript once your facilitator marks the course complete.
