Digital media production is the study of media creation and display through media outlets such as the internet. This includes audio and video streaming and hybrids of the two. Interactive media or rich media combines video, audio and user participation.

- The content includes practical experiences in web page design, interactive presentation development, testing, and production.
- Specialized skills in multimedia presentations such as video editing, audio features, and simple animation and authoring software are used to produce a variety of interactive multimedia presentations.
- Instruction and learning activities take place in a state-of-the-art laboratory setting using software technology to create hands-on high-tech digital media.
- Students learn Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Flash software to create products.
- Students will also apply basic skills in communications, mathematics, science, and problem-solving skills to enhance hands-on experiences.
HONORS Credit for CTE Level 3 Courses
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Level III (3) courses are designed for students who have demonstrated an advanced level of interest and achievement in their CTE subject area. CTE Level 3 courses are more demanding and have requirements beyond those of standard CTE courses.
